"What is a Pawn Shop Collective?"
We are comprised of a number of pawn shops in the Edmonton area working together to provide the best selection, service and information.
"What can I pawn?"
The following items are great for pawning (good condition, quality brands):
- LCD TVs
- DVD players
- Digital Cameras
- Power Tools
- DVD movies
- Sporting Goods
- Lawn and Garden Equipment
"How do I pawn?"
Give us a call to find out if your item has pawning potential, or bring your item to one of our locations. We will take a look and make you an offer.
"What is my item worth?"
We need to see your item to value it. Bring it in to one of our locations and we’ll be happy to make you an offer.
"What is the loan process?"
There are no credit checks, no background checks and no waiting period - most loans and transactions are done in less than 5 minutes.
The City of Edmonton Bylaw requires that we must record two pieces of ID.
One piece of valid photo ID (drivers license, passport or FAC)
One other piece of ID (birth certificate, SIN card, treaty card, credit card etc.)
"How much can I borrow?"
There is no limit to loans as long as you have the collateral.
"Do you sell stolen goods?"
No. We do everything in our power to ensure we’re pawning and selling legitimate products.
Pawning means Saving!
Buying pre-owned goods can be a huge expense saver!
In as little as 6 months, a car can up to 25%, making it much more economical to buy used rather than new. This same philosophy applies to many of todays consumer items!
You can save that margin on all sorts of goods! A television, stereo, video game, golf clubs or best yet, Jewellery.
All of these items and more can be found in our stores at a fraction of retail price. A diamond ring that retails for $5000 might be found in one of our stores for a mere $1750.
What could you do with that extra $3250?
Most of the items sold through us are less than one year old and show little wear. Best of all, most items are priced at half of retail or less. And most items come with a guarantee....so what are you waiting for?
